While scrolling around my endless stream of tweets I bumped into an interesting link to the blog of Matt Stevens, creative director at brand agency HAWSE. The good guy seems to be pretty deep into sneakers and made a couple of awesome illustrations to explore a range of illustration styles.

An earlier illustration exercise “The shoe museum” was posted in april, showing a selection of shoes he loved back in the 90′s. The post that caught my eye was about Matt’s “Air Max 1 A Day” project. A range of visual interpretations of the Nike Air Max 1, illustrated in a variety of styles. The idea was to post one illustration a day, and there’s a chance more awesomeness will follow.
