The Cali Republic fitted

When posting the top 10 fitteds of 2010 I realized how little of them were part of my collection. When the list was created it turned out impossible to give each piece a number. One thing that was clear for me though was the numero uno; Hella Tights Cali Republic. The reason for being favorite is the colorway and beautiful combination of materials. The white corduroy crown is looking so good in combination with the red felt applique and black denim bill.

Hunting down this hat was a hard task, when finally finding one my size it was an immediate click on the “add to basket” button. I must have been so excited that I accidentally forgot to enter my country correctly, as the confirmation email showed a delivery adress in Afghanistan, instead of The Netherlands. A couple of emails to customer service of the online shop turned out not too good either; “We cant do anything untill we get it shipped back”. Damn…

Long after I gave up hope, 10 weeks after my initial purchase to be exact, the doorbell rang, hallelujah!

Below once again the lovely piece that traveled more places than Ive been to in my life, including the proof of my retardedness.
