Give us this day our ‘Daily Bread’
No matter who you are and what you believe in, bread is what we all need daily. This time its delivered as an album by Low Budget Crew member Hassaan Mackey & Apollo Brown. The latter is part of ‘The Left’ who dropped ‘Gas Mask‘ in 2010. Funny thing is that one of my favorite tracks on ‘Gas Mask’ is ‘How We Live’, a track which features Hassaan Mackey. Im not sure if it turned out to be the reason to do a full album together but Im happy it happened.
To keep things short; ‘Daily Bread’ is the best album Ive heard since Gas Mask. I am an appreciator of Hassaans bars for a couple of years now and Browns productions are just ridiculous. Theres a lot of tracks on this 41 min album which are worth giving a listen, ‘Elephants’ and ‘The Trenches’ are two of my favorites, let me know what yours are.
Be forgiven for your trespasses by listening & downloading Daily Bread on iTunes or Amazon
