I need your help

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Workout Plus Reebok did a collaboration with 15 retailers around the globe. In my eye a superb project which shows the potential as well as the history of the brand. If money was no issue I would have picked up at least 4 of the created Workouts, unfortunately I will have to go for only 1 pair (for now). My two favorites of the lineup are very similar; the grey suede Footpatrol workout and grey suede Starcow pair.

Cutting a long story short; I cant make up my mind. I love the clean-ness of the Footpatrol Workout, but love the old-school look of Starcow. As I cant decide I would like you to do so for me. Select your favorite model in the poll below and I will use the outcome to base my decision on. Please use the comments at the botom to explain which is model you chose and why. Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • I’ve grown to believe that when on sixes and sevens choosing between a number of CWs, the best tactics is to break down the complex choice to ‘what feels better in my collection’.
Personally… Footpatrol’s are pretty spiffy and Starcow’s arten’t my cuppa. Good luck though, mate.

    • Thanks for sharing your thoughts P, if I’d use your methodology it would make sense to go for the Foot Patrols. Its just the old-school look I like about the Starcow.

  • I would go with the Foorpatrol personally. I’m so crazy about the red liner at all. It throughs off the balance of the shoe for me.Only thing I like about the Starcow id the black logo. Other than that, I like the cleaner look of the Footpatrol.

    • I hear you, its the logo that gives the Starcow that OG look which I love. The FPs are slightly cleaner due to less color variations. Appreciate your opinion A.

  • Starcow for me. The other pair is missing a bit of contrast for me….too monotone. Wouldn’t mind having either though. 2nd pair just does more for me. Love the look of the blog btw homey!! Be well!

    • Thanks for sharing your opinion Andrew, things are not getting easier. I can only agree with your view as well. Appreciate the kind words too.

  • Starcow, i like the red lining it add a pop of color but, the FP is just so classic and the clean-ness to it is just great I’m going with the FP!

    • Thanks for sharing your opinion Jose

  • grab the starcows.
    i got them..the shoes are bangers…
the waterproof suede is so lush while the black part on the sole, the black logo and last but not least the red drywhatever lining makes them eyecatchers.
comfy as fuxx..the overall makeup is the best one from the pack.
i was also thinking about getting the FPs, though.
bottom line: SCs by a mile.

  • if i had the money, i´d grab the FPs and 24KTS as well…

    • Hey Luke, its exactly that technical stuff that I like about the Starcows. Suede gives a great look, but is also on of the most unpractical fabrics if you like to keep them in decent condition, the waterproofness should help by keeping them like that. Indeed the added contrast on the midsole is nice too. I already made my choice, and will post them when they arrive. Other than these I really like the SNS & Packers. And I could name another 2 if money wasn’t an issue.

BTW. if you have those Starcows, let me know how if that waterproof claim is really working.

  • i did not wear them during bad conditions yet..
the lining is great and really comfy so far and last but not least…breathable…

    24KTS??? maybe!

    • The 24KTS is nice but I’d prefer a couple of others over them. I really like the SNS brown leathers and Packers too, the shoe gallery makeup is a real grower too. Money though…

  • Starcrow’s coz I’m just a sucker for Gum & Orange.
If the upper body is black, instead of grey, I may have to consider copping tho.

    • I think the result of this poll is that I cant go wrong, thanks for commenting
